YONGMUDO ASSOCIATION OF GOA
YONGMUDO (also spelled Yongmoodo, Yong Moo Do) is a modern, hybrid martial art that was developed in 1998 by sports scientists at Yong-In University in Korea. Yongmudo combines kicking techniques from taekwondo, grappling and throwing techniques from hapkido, throwing techniques from judo, and wrestling techniques from ssireum.

The founder and secretary of yongmudo association of goa Mr Vishant solyekar had started his career in Martial arts filed . There was no proper support and also poor in students but curiosity to learn new things he has taken first step but joining karate classes after completing black belt in karate. He was not satisfy he still wanted to learn more things more deep knowledge about martial arts. In karate he learned punchs ,kicking and fighting techniques. Then he come to know that there is one game called Taekwondo that is characterized by its emphasis on head-height kicks, jumping and spinning kicks, and fast kicking techniques. It made him more carry to learn all types of kicks and skills of Taekwondo he started taking Taekwondo training. And he is the very hard working person . He had worked in many small-small shops, garages at a very small age but never complaint about his life. After completing Taekwondo training he join than tha, Kalaripayattu. It is a martial art designed for the ancient battlefield (the word “Kalari” meaning “battlefield”), with weapons and combative techniques that are unique to Kerala also he learn judo techniques but while learning all this he noticed one thing that is a person is not getting all techniques at one place for different techniques there is different-different Masters and cost of training is very high so he decided to take necessary step on it and he started working on it he was searching for such a martial arts style which can provide karate, judo, Taekwondo etc all techniques in one style and one day unexpectedly he got opportunity in last year 2022 of one game which he was in search that game is Yongmudo , Yongmoodo or Yong Moo Do is a modern hybrid Korean martial art which combines different techniques from taekwondo, hapkido, judo, and ssireum as well as boxing and wrestling. Then started his own classes of yongmudo in Sankhalim , Honda and Amona. There was only one aim behind all this is to provide our students all the techniques of karate, Taekwondo, judo etc. At one place within nominal fees which students can afford. No one teach all this styles combined in such a low fees. We have to create a very strong team to represent our goa state in nationals and also to make proud movement for our country India by getting medal for India.
Being a martial artist is not for showoff it for the self defense and only you have to use when there is no other option to save you are life. If you are doing martial arts then you can able to control your mind, anger, your body and it developed your thinking capacity, you can easily able to focus at one target. There are many things for that you have to do hard work on that. You have to take pain because no pain no gain you must have listed this. To become a successful person martial arts helps you lot. It prepares your body to keep stable even in most difficult situations.

The classes of Ajoba Nagar Honda are weekly three days Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 5:30pm to 7:30pm

WE HAVE STARTED TAKING SELF DEFENSE CAMPS. WE HAVE ALREADY TAKEN MANY CAMPS IN SCHOOLS, COLLEGE AND IN VILLAGE AREA. IF ANY SCHOOLS, COLLEGE or PANCHAYAT ARE SUPPORTING THEN WE CAN TAKES MORE CAMP TO SPREAD AWARENESS ABOUT SELF DEFENSE FOR WOMAN’S AND START MIX MARTIAL ARTS CLASSES IN YOUR LOCALITY WITH NOMINAL FEES .

WE WON TOTAL 31 GOLD MEDAL, 16 SILVER MEDAL AND 17 BRONZE MEDAL AND THREE TROPHIES 1ST FOR DISCIPLINE, 2SD TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP AND 3RD FOR TEAM POOMSE IT A VERY PROUD FULL MOVEMENT.
